I'm excited.

Why am I excited you ask? Because I just read that Dave Matthews Band has a new studio album coming out on May 10th. Sure, they've released about ten thousand live cds since their last studio album, but I never get the same feeling that I listen too thir new stuff for the first time, and I know I'm probably not gonna like it the first time I listen too it, because I'm pretty much like that with most bands I listen to. I can't tell you how long it took me to really listen to my Brand New cd before it really started growing on me, but I digress.

For some strange reason I've always liked Dave Matthews Band. Maybe it's because they sound a little bit different then most things you hear on the radio right now. They have a world music feel to them that I really dig. It's just my thing, I don't know, I like music that isn't confined to the standard rock formula.

That's the kind of thing I'm hoping to get done once I get this record label going. I'm really not about discriminating against types of music, I am however all about talent.
