Oh my something new.
I awaken to a white world. And it's pretty damned bright, But no school this morning so that makes me happy. That's two Mondays in a row that I don't have anything to do.
After the initial happiness of watching the news to find out that there was no morning classes, I caught a story about Microsoft or "M". Well, M decided that they'd finally come out with an AntiSpyware Program that's free for Windows users. I guess it's a step in the right direction since Lavasoft has been getting some heat on themselves because of their Ad-aware program. Lavasoft "supposedly" (I say supposedly because there is no evidence found yet and neither company are verifying the information) has a deal with a company that uses spyware, which means that Ad-aware would overlook any pop-ups and such from said company.
This isn't really that big of a deal, but it got M to finally acknowledge the Ad/Spy-ware problem. I've downloaded and tried the program. I'm using a new computer, so I don't have a good example of how good the program is yet because after the initial scan it found nothing. Which is good I guess since I'm pretty sure the computer hasn't been to any sites that would've caused spyware to infect the computer. Thank God.
You can get the Beta version of the AntiSpyware Program Here
EDIT: I realize Josh wrote about this last week, but since I never really read his posts all the way through unless I'm bored, I just never finished it and didn't pay any attention until he commented.
I'm out Bitches.
The Countdown Begins-New Computer arriving Friday By Noon.
