Freaking School

I'm back to school tomorrow. And I'm just thrilled about it! Really, thrilled! No, not really. I'm just gonna be bored with it very quickly. There is so much more stuff I'd like to be doing with my time. Like making music. I've had songs stuck in my head for a while, and with Jake being home again I'm beginning to start yet another musical project. This one is gonna be a little larger and much more structured than my current one.

I'm distracted by the VMA's, I'll be back.

Peanut Butter Cup Martini

Someone should make this, and then give me some Dammit!

1 oz. vodka
½ oz. DeKuyper Buttershots Schnapps
½ oz. Toschi Nocello Walnut Liqueur
1 heaping tbsp. Jiffy Cream Peanut Butter
1 tsp. Hershey Chocolate Syrup
½ oz. half & half cream

All ingredients must be shaken in a Martini shaker filled with ice, very hard, to break up the Peanut Butter. Pour into a martini glass.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Days of Our Lives

Almost back to school. YAY!! Not really. I'm gonna get bored with being back in college again. If I could find a way to avoid it, I would. I want to get done with college, but I wouldn't have money if I just quit my job and went to college, and by God I NEED money. I'll be saving up cash money so that I can hopefully get a place all too my lonesome, hopefully someplace that I can take my drums because there no way I'm going anywhere without them.

In other news, I went to a party the other night. Shane, Nick, and Matt came with me. It was good times. I saw a guy that I had a class with at Delta and talked with him for a bit. A couple girls we went to high school with were there too. First thing I heard when I walked in the door, "Randy Blaine! I wrote a poem about you remember?? Does it rain on Randy Blaine???" I'm sure there was more to that poem, but I don't recall. Anyway, we had to make a couple of trips to 7-11 through out the night because, needed drinks and food. Everyone pretty much left before we did. On a side note, Shane hit on almost every girl there. He also hit on Nick the whole night too. It was all good fun though.

This is an old picture that was just recently developed. This is what happens when Media Play associates get to dress up for new release days. Yeah, I know.

Untitled Personal Rant

I am entirely bored out of my skull.

All my friends seem to be working tonight. I've called around that seems to be what's going on these days. Since I am bored, it makes me kinda miss Ashley because she was normally as bored as me and we'd be able to find something to do. I haven't had a nice drinking night in a couple of weeks and I really want a drink. I find myself missing all kinds of people lately, it's weird. I've just been in the mood of thinking about what happened to everyone I used to know. I obviously have no clue because I don't see them or talk to them. And the people I do talk to and see on very rare occasions, aren't people that I can hang out with when hanging out with a group of friends due to conflicting differences.

I hate this. I've been stressing about everything lately. I've even picked up a couple habits that aren't that good for me, but I don't really care anymore. Life on this little rock has gotten to short. I need to get my ass moving and start my business, whatever it is at this point, and just Git-R-Done.

Sober Teen = Dangerous Teen

Ok, after my 2 latest concert experiences. I'm come to the realization that sadly enough a show on Comedy Central actually brings up some good points.

Let me explain..

Ozzfest was awesome and had a nice amount of people there. It also had some insane pits and there were a lot of people that got a little bloodied up, but they knew what they were getting into. They had the choice to get into the pit or not. If you didn't want to be in the pit you could just take a step back and people respected your decesion to not get your ass kicked. I had my personal space and everyone else had their own space and I was still fairly close to the stage. Even during the Slipknot set, I still had my space and had a clear view of the stage. It was good times, I could rock out and not have to worry about someone nailing me in the head from behind, why is this? Well, since it was a metal show there was so much beer and weed that no one really gave a damn and just wanted to have a good time.

Now, Warped Tour on the other hand. There was still a lot of beer going, but generally it was a younger crowd. This crowd gave a damn. They wanted to be right there watching their favorite band. They wanted to be as close as possible to the stage, even if it ment basically humping the person in front of them. Even if that ment guy on guy action, or girl on girl as the case may be. But let's face it, most of those kids were straight edge. All pent up with emotions and full of anger. That's where the problem is. If ya would've given them some weed or something before the concert they probably would've been a little more mellow and paranoid. What do you do after you smoke some weed? Most of the time you just sit there and not talk, which can kinda freak you out if you're with a group of people. Plus think how much more money they would've made off the concession stands if everyone had the munchies. It's better for the economy people! But, I digress.

So, Ozzfest was mellow, but still rocked and Warped Tour was violent, but still rocked. It's weird how those things turn out.

Welcome To Ozz

Well, Ozzfest has come and gone. And was it worth the $100? Damn right it was.

We, didn't get there until the end of the Atreyu set, so we missed Lacuna Coil and Devil Driver, but we caught pretty much everything after that. Hatebreed put on an awesome show, I was never a big fan of theirs but they definately have my attention now. Slipknot's set was also freaking awesome. They didn't play a lot of their new album though which kinda made me sad because I really wanted to hear at least one of the Vermillion songs, I wouldn't expect them to play pt. 2 because it basically accoustic, but dammit I wanted to hear pt. 1.

Over on the main stage Superjoint put on a good show, but I never realized that some of their songs are only like 30 seconds long. The highlight of the entire day had to be Black Sabbath. Their set was just filled with energy and even one was on their feet. Good times were had by all.

Freaking Emo Kids!

If I hate anything in the world, it's got to be Emo kids. Ok, so I went to Warped Tour with Nick and Jake today. It was good times. But, this had to be like one of the most violent crowds I've ever seen. You'd think Ozzfest would have one of the most violent audiences in the music industry, but you'd be wrong. These emo kids get so into these bands that they have to be right there watching their faces as they scream their hearts out and these kids leave everyone else in their war path. For example, we were about to watch Taking Back Sunday. They're a cool band, but let's face it, they are pussy rock, not metal, not really punk, but not really that hard of a band. The majority of their fans are all straight-edged kids.

So, when they start their set with the dreaded words: "What do we do when someone falls down? We pick them up!!!"

And from those words everyone one starts moving. We were body to body to begin with, when I feel like I'm riding a roller coaster at Cedar Point, and I'm really just standing at a concert, that's not normally a good thing. My feet were off the ground and I was still standing some how!!

The band stopped the song they were playing and informed the audience that people were getting hurt, so they told everyone to step back. Which only made more room for more idiots to sneak in through the cracks. Eventually, I turned to the big guy next to me and told him I was getting the fuck outta there, and he agreed that it was a good idea. So, we ended up pushing some emo kids out of the way and found higher ground. Jake did the same but I think he got out sooner than I did. I then ventured over to the beer stand and waited until the set was over to find Nick. I looked to where Nick was standing when I left and he was no where to be seen. Strangely enough, Nick ended up going from the left side of the stage to the right side of the stage without ever trying to move.

We were pretty dead after all of that, but we craved something edible. Unfortunately while waiting in line for food, we missed Coheed & Cambria's set. We later found out that the set was cut short anyway because someone threw a camera on stage and it nailed the lead singer in the eye, rumor has it that it busted him open pretty good.

We ended our day with the Yellowcard set because we were all too tired to wait around another few hours to see Story of the Year which happened to be the last band of the night. That kind of made me upset because I really wanted to see them, but I wasn't gonna try to sit around waiting for them to start at 8:30.

It was a good day all around, except for those damned emo kids.

Warped beyond belief

Alright. In a few hours I will be at Warped Tour enjoying a shit load of punk bands. But right now I can't sleep, I wish I could be sleep is really cool and it's something that I enjoy greatly.

Yesterday I had a really bad day all around. For one, it was my mom's birthday, but I had to work so we couldn't celebrate it. Yesterday was also Ashley's going away party, which I also missed due to work, and it sucks that I'm not gonna get to talk to her except through postcards for the next 7 months. Then of course work also sucked because it was slow as hell, and I really didn't wanna be there because it was the day before my vacation.

So, I'm officially on vacation, and goddammit I deserve it.

History Lesson

Ok, so there was once this band Creed. In the beginning they were something new and they were embraced by a lot of people. They had a new sound and people liked it, but their new sound quickly became old when that sound didn't change after 2 or 3 albums.

Then, their lead singer started to mistake himself for God, and people don't like that. So, then the band sucked.

It all came to an end though when it was announced that Creed was breaking up, which the fans liked.

Unfortunately for the people of the world we couldn't for see what would happen after the break up of Creed. It seems that they've multiplied.

The new spawn of Creed is called Alter Bridge. It has the members of Creed minus the lead singer. And of course, it sounds exactly like Creed did, so therefore it must suck!

Not only did that happen, but Scott Stapp (Creed's lead singer), is gonna be coming out with an album of his own, which will more than likely sound exactly the same as the Altar Bridge album and any other Creed album.

So, now the public has 2 new crappy bands too deal with instead of 1 and it's all Creed's fault. Fuck You Creed. Fuck You.

Look Bitch, I'm Rick James

The Super Freak himself Rick James has passed on. It was said that he died of natural causes. If you snorted has much coke as he did, then yes it'd be pretty natural that you'd die.

Let us all have a moment for Rick James, Bitch!!!

This bores me.

I have nothing significant to write about.

I'm just bored today. And I miss my little doggie. He keeps me entertained when I'm home alone. :(

Got wasted last night. That was good times. And it was fun other than someone kept breaking shit in my house. Luckily superglue can do wonders, at least until I come up with a decent excuse for it. eh, what ya gonna do?.

Oh well, onto other endevours and more partying.
