Yeah! For the work day!!
Work was exciting today, first we got a new overhead music video disc that has tons of music from the 80s on it!!! From Duran Duran to Frankie Goes to Hollywood to INXS! It was a great suprise and great fun to see what the next song would be.
Then came more excitment!!! We actually stopped a shoplifter. Woohoo!!! I was quick to respond when manager Nic. Said "Randy! NOW!" because at the time I was just putting books on the self minding my own. I jumped up and followed him to a man playing the Gamecube. Nic asked him if we could have a word with him and then presented him with a GBA case and game booklet for "DragonBall Z 2". The guy was like, yeah man I got my reciept right here. Searching through his pockets he found nothing. The man then said, "Well, I must have dropped it somewhere. I was just in the front of the books section." But we quickly responded with, "Well you were in the back of the store for a long time, maybe you left it there." The man quickly got defensive saying that he wasn't in the back of the store at anytime, and looked to me to confirm it sense he walked past me in the front of the books section. I said, "I saw you come from the back of the store sir." So, we went to the back of the store and searched for the missing reciept, And then finally the genius that is the mind of a shoplifter said, "Hey, I think I might have left it in my car, let me go get it." Yeah, like we're just gonna let somebody that we think is ripping us off walk out of the store. After playing find the reciept for so long, Nic finally gave the guy two choices. The easy way or the hard way. The easy way="Just give us the game that's in your pocket, get out of the store, and never show your fucking face here again." or The Hard way="We call the cops and let them figure out where the reciept is." Sense nobody wanted to bring in the police the guy eventually took the easy way. But if he shows his face again, I'm Takin Him Down!!!! Word...
