The Ultimate Irony


I really, really wanna quit my job. I just wanna walk into the GM's office, lay my 2 week notice on his desk and say "here ya go, go fuck yourself, I'll see ya again when I'm your boss." Screw handing it in, I'd rather fax it in and never show up again. If I did that, a manager might actually have to work for a week until they fill my position.
Reasoning behind all of this??? My boss doesn't want to give me my college orientation off. Therefore he'd pretty much stand in the way of me going back to school. I'm not gonna put up with that. I want to get a degree, I want to do something with my life. I don't want to sit at a crappy job that I hate for the rest of my life. So, if it comes down between going back to school and working at that place. I'm gonna pick going back to school. As nice as the money is, and as nice is it is being able to buy shit right now and not worry about not having cash, I don't think I'd mind going back to part-time stuff somewhere else. Somewhere where I won't be sucked into a void, and be stuck there because I worked my ass off.

Isn't it funny, you work your butt off to get where your at, but once your there you wanna go back.
