Ok, I just watched my copy of High Fidelity again and I've come up with a top 5 list, so here it goes:
Top 5 Songs That Can Envoke My Emotions Like No Other
5. "Cry Me A River" By Justin Timberlake
4. "Screaming Infidelities" By Dashboard Confessional
3. "Crush" By Dave Matthews Band
2. "Kissing You (Love theme from Romeo And Juliet)" By Desree
1. "Goodbye To You" By Michelle Branch
I really had to put a lot of thought into this list because I didn't quite know what I was going for when making it, and I at first had the #1 song at #5, but the more I thought about it the more it grew on me, and it really fits what I've gone/am going through. It's though, even as I listen to that song right now, I can't help but feel it. All the same emotions talked about in that song sadly fit perfectly, because that song is kind of a downer, but hey, times change, people change, but history is forever. And I'll always have that time somewhere in the back of my mind. And whenever I hear that song I'll think of it. And probably tear up as I am now. Same with song #2. I could listen to day both songs day in and day out because they're both beautiful songs. Song #3 has a different purpose though. I could have easily placed a different DMB song in there that could've also reminded me about that time in my life, but I decided not to. This song reminds me of a time after. A very brief time after. But all things songs have one thing in common. They all get me thinking about one thing, but that's a different story.
